Four Mississippi State seniors were placed on the Preseason All-SEC team by the league’s coaches on Thursday.
Wide receiver Fred Ross earned a spot on the second team while defensive end A.J. Jefferson and linebacker Richie Brown were both placed on the third team. Brandon Holloway also received a spot on the third team as both a running back and return specialist.
Ross established a new single-season school record in 2015 by making 88 catches for 1,007
yards and five touchdowns in addition to one rushing score.
