According to a couple of reports, Stan Black was attempting to help others when he passed away. On I-55 in Canton, Mississippi, he was reportedly in the middle of trying to assist those who were in an existing accident on the road.
Unfortunately, things turned south as he tried to help others on the road and Stan Black lost his life at the age of 62.
During his time in Starkville with the Mississippi State football team, Stan Black was a phenomenal football player. He played during the 1970’s and was a key part of the success that came during those years.
