I’ll be honest. When the Mississippi State baseball season started, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the team. I saw reason for optimism as the lineup that was coming back was filled with a lot of experience. There was also concern because of the three most important pitchers from the 2014 squad, two weren’t coming back. When the Bulldogs got off to a 13-0 start, I thought the optimistic side was the one to believe. But then the loss to UAPB happened, and it has been a steady spiral ever since. I knew there was a chance 2015 might be disappointing, but I had no idea it would be this bad.
