Former Mississippi State defensive lineman Chris Jones, who is projected as a potential first-round pick in the NFL draft, was arrested Wednesday for driving with a suspended license, according to a report.
The Clarion Ledger, citing police records, said Jones was arrested at 2:22 p.m. after he was stopped for speeding in Starkville, Mississippi. He posted a $922 bond and was released.
The 6-foot-6, 308-pound Jones took part in the NFL combine, where he drew national attention for losing his shorts while running his 40-yard dash, as well as Mississippi State's pro day.
