Today, the Augusta Sports Council released the 25 punters who have been selected for the 2015 Ray Guy Award watch list. Among those 25 names, Mississippi State senior punter and kicker Devon Bell was selected as one of the nation’s best punters. Bell will have to go up against the 2014 Ray Guy Award winner, Tom Hackett from the University of Utah. Also, two of the finalists from last year’s list return to the watch list.
Devon Bell’s stats certainly fit the bill for one of the best punters in the country. Bell punted 50 times for a total of 2160 yards, which brings an average yards/punt to 43.
