Daniel Brown Stepped up when Bulldogs Needed Him

The Mississippi State baseball team was supposed to have three quality pitchers for the weekend in 2016. Dakota Hudson, Austin Sexton, and Daniel Brown were supposed to make life difficult on opposing hitters.

Two of those pitchers panned out. Daniel Brown struggled mightily in his role as the third starter on the weekend. He lost the role after his last unimpressive performance on Sunday of the Ole Miss series.

But since going to the bullpen, Daniel Brown has been much more consistent. It appears he is like Jacob Lindgren and Chad Girodo. Something about being the first guy on the mound gets them out of their comfort zones.
