For the first time since five-star defensive end Jeffery Simmons, a Bulldogs signee, was charged with simple assault and disturbing the peace in Macon, Miss., Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen has spoken on the record.
Mullen told ESPN.com the school is reviewing facts on the situation before deciding what it will do about Simmons’ scholarship.
“To me, like any situation you get into, you evaluate all the details and research every aspect of it,” Mullen said. “Our responsibility is to make sure we investigate every part of it.
“I want to see some of the police reports.
