We’ve seen just about everything under the sun in commitment announcements. Mississippi State’s latest addition has brought in something different – a cake.
Three-star defensive end Jaden Crumedy declared his commitment to Mississippi State on Sunday night, making his announcement on Twitter with the help of a particularly tasty-looking prop.
Crumedy (6 feet 4, 230 pounds) is a weakside defensive end from Hattiesburg (Miss.) Oak Grove. He’s one of the top-20 players at his position nationally and one of the top-10 prospects in Mississippi. He picked Dan Mullen and the Bulldogs over Ole Miss and Tennessee.
With Crumedy’s commitment, Mississippi State is close to capacity with 24 players on board for the 2018 class.
