The Mississippi State baseball team has to be thankful for Cole Gordon’s presence on the mound tonight. Mississippi State, like most teams at this point in a regional, is running thin on pitchers that are ready to play. But, Cole Gordon just gave the Bulldogs a solid chance tomorrow.
MSU now has a shot to claim the Tallahassee Regional.
Again, it’s all because of Cole Gordon’s performance tonight.
Denver McQuary drew the start for the Mississippi State baseball team. Gary Henderson turned to McQuary in hopes that he’d be able to get the Bulldogs through several innings.
