Mississippi State’s 2015 signing class was rated No. 3 nationally by Baseball America.
It was the third consecutive top 10 class signed by John Cohen following up a No. 2 class in 2013 and No. 6 class last year.
The Diamond Dogs have 22 newcomers joining the team with 16 coming from high school and six junior college transfers.
The class features three MLB Draft picks – Jared Padgett, Elih Marrero and Delvin Zinn – that arrived on campus this fall as well as three players of the year – Kale Breaux (Louisiana), Hunter Stovall (Alabama) and Nate Lowe (Florida junior college).
