The craziest thing about Mississippi State's 14-inning marathon softball game against Auburn wasn't that its pitcher, Alexis Silkwood, threw a team-record 216 pitches. It wasn't the fact the game lasted 4 hours, 34 minutes.
It was the fact that the Bulldogs' third-base coach broke out a rally WWE belt -- in just the 11th inning.
Hail State lost the game on a wild pitch in the top of the 14th inning, but at least the Bulldogs won the WWE title over the Tigers. Right?
