Mississippi State sophomore linebacker Kelan Chairs was arrested Monday for driving with a suspended license.
The 6-foot, 220-pounder from Harvey, La., was pulled over by campus police at 9:01 a.m. for running a red light on Bully Boulevard.
Chairs has been a walk-on for the Bulldogs for the past three years and has played in nine career games and made five tackles. He has appeared in both games this season but has not recorded any statistics.
Chairs made four of his stops against UT Martin last season and also had the game-winning interception on the final play of the MSU spring game this past April.
