STARKVILLE, Miss. — Eight former Mississippi State baseball players find themselves on 30-man active rosters for seven MLB teams to start the 2020 season, which has been condensed to 60 games.
The 2020 MLB season kicked off on Thursday evening with the Nationals hosting the Yankees and the Dodgers hosting the Giants. Friday’s Opening Day sees the other 26 clubs begin their pursuit of a World Series championship.
Bulldogs on opening day rosters include:

Active rosters will trim down to 28 players after two weeks, then to the final 26-man active roster two weeks later.
