Game 2 between No. 4 Mississippi State and Alabama has been postponed due to inclement weather in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
The Bulldogs and Crimson Tide will play two seven-inning games on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. MSU won the first game of the series 12-5 on Thursday night.
Junior right-hander Austin Sexton (4-2, 3.62 ERA) is set to pitch for the Diamond Dogs in the first game on Saturday while Alabama goes with sophomore righty Jake Walters (4-3, 1.89). The Crimson Tide will pitch junior right-hander Nick Eicholtz (3-1, 2.16) in the nightcap while State has not announced a starter.
