Ben Howland missed Monday’s stop in Tupelo for the Road Dawgs Tour in order to host four-star prospect Aric Holman on an official visit.
That decision paid off as Holman signed his letter of intent on that visit and announced his decision to be a Bulldog on Thursday morning.
The 6-foot-9, 200-pounder is rated that nation’s No. 25 power forward, No. 2 prospect in Kentucky and 101st player nationally in 2015 according to 247Sports.com.
Holman had initially decided to attend Hargrave (Va.) Military Academy. He also had offers from South Carolina, VCU, Auburn, Chattanooga, Florida Gulf Coast, Kansas State, Memphis, Murray State, Northern Kentucky, Oklahoma State, Stetson, Western Kentucky and Xavier.
