Bulldogs set for second scrimmage

It’s scrimmage time again for the Bulldogs.

For the second time during training camp, Mississippi State will host a closed scrimmage tonight at Davis Wade Stadium. With the season opener now just 15 days away, head coach Dan Mullen is anxious to see how his players have progressed in recent days.

“(I want to see) guys that are ready to go make plays when the lights come on,” Mullen said on Thursday. “After installation, we should know what we’re doing. You’ve had an opportunity to practice it and you’ve got a foundation.
