In hopes of making another NCAA Tournament run, Mississippi State has set forth a challenging non-conference schedule.
The Bulldogs will square off against six teams that advanced to the postseason including four that reached the NCAA Tournament.
“We feel like we have put together a challenging non-conference schedule,” said MSU coach Vic Schaefer. “We took to heart some of the concerns the NCAA Tournament selection committee had about our schedule a year ago.”
MSU hosts Mississippi College in exhibition action on Nov. 10 before tipping off the season against Samford. The Nov. 13 opener versus Samford will be part of a doubleheader at Humphrey Coliseum along the men’s debut against Eastern Washington.
