Mississippi State dipped into Louisiana again to land three-star athlete Cameron Dantzler on Saturday.
Dantzler chose the Bulldogs over offers from Cincinnati, Louisiana Tech, Southern Miss, Texas Tech, Tulane and Utah.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder becomes the 11th member of MSU’s 2016 class and third from Louisiana. He is rated the No. 41 prospect in Louisiana and the 45th best athlete in the nation by 247Sports.com.
As a junior, Dantzler helped lead St. Thomas Aquinas to a 10-2 record and into the quarterfinals of the Division III playoffs.
Dantzler is expected to play cornerback at the next level.
