Mississippi State earned its 15th commitment for the 2017 class with the addition of three-star defensive back Landon Guidry.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder from Thompson’s Station, Tennessee committed while attending the Bulldogs’ summer camp on Monday.
Guidry is rated the No. 33 prospect in Tennessee and owns offers from Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Memphis, Mercer, Middle Tennessee, Samford, Southern Miss, Tennessee Tech, Toledo and Vanderbilt.
As a junior at Independence High School, Guidry made 80 tackles, eight for loss, one sack, one interception, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries. He also added 16 carries for 185 yards and three touchdowns on offense.
