Bulldogs add another in-state prospect

Mississippi State added its second in-state commitment of the week as Callaway cornerback Emanuel Dabney joined the Bulldogs’ 2017 class on Thursday.

MSU was the first program to offer the Dabney on Monday.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder made 37 tackles, two for loss, three interceptions, seven pass deflections, recovered two fumbles and blocked a field goal for the Chargers. He returned one interception for a touchdown and also had a punt return for a score in 10 games this past season.

Dabney is the first high school commitment for the Bulldogs in 2017 joining junior college pledges Tommy Champion, Cameron Myers and Ravian Pierce.
