Kale Breaux‘s recruitment started very early in his baseball career.
The southpaw pitcher from Sulphur, Louisiana received his first scholarship offer from Florida International as an eighth grader and plenty of other schools soon followed.
Breaux made an early commitment to in-state LSU but he ended up flipping his allegiance to Mississippi State before his high school career was complete.
“My sophomore year I de-committed from LSU,” Breaux said. “It wasn’t that I didn’t like LSU, I just love Mississippi State more. I loved the tradition over here. I wanted to get better as a player and I felt like I could play early here.
