STARKVILLE, Miss. — On Friday evening, the Southeastern Conference took the opportunity to air a special on the SEC Network to announce the two additional conference opponents that each of its 14 teams will play in order to fill out their 10-game conference schedules.
The two games added to Mississippi State’s schedule include a home game against the Vanderbilt Commodores and a road game against the Georgia Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs will play its usual six-game West Division opponents, plus its scheduled East Division opponents. It is expected the dates of previously scheduled games will be somewhat shuffled to accommodate the changes across the conference.
