Mississippi State was seemingly on the mountaintop in the aftermath of their 37-7 throttling of LSU. This season has shades of 2014. Nick Fitzgerald is a Heisman contender. This is going to be a special season.
A week ago, we were proud. This week, however, we are humbled.
Mississippi State lost by four touchdowns between the hedges this past Saturday. Our lethal offense became anemic. Our obliterating defense was carved up like a jack-o-lantern. The team that we thought was complete has some serious holes.
