BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The top-ranked Alabama women's golf team won the 2016 SEC Women's Golf Championship Sunday with a three-day total of 5-under 859 here at Greystone's Legacy Course.
The Crimson Tide entered the day tied for the lead with Florida and fired a final round 7-under 281 to claim their third SEC title (2010, 2013). No. 7 Florida (292-286-286--864) placed second, followed by No. 8 Arkansas (300-294-288--882), No. 25 Texas A&M (299-291-294--884), No. 23 South Carolina (298-301-289--888), No. 5 Georgia (296-296-297--889), Ole Miss (301-300-293--894), Tennessee (297-305-294--896), Missouri (295-303-302--900), Vanderbilt (309-304-292--905), LSU (305-303-303--911), Mississippi State (305-303-306--914), Auburn (304-311-304--919) and Kentucky (312-312-297--921).
