Watson (6 feet 3, 200 pounds) plays for Maplesville (Ala.) School. He selected the Bulldogs over SEC West rivals Auburn and Ole Miss. Maplesville is a town of about 700 located about 55 miles northwest of Tuscaloosa; the school, which also draws from the surrounding rural area, has about 450 students in grades K-12, yet has produced two NFL players (Tommie Agee and Harold Morrow, both of whom attended Auburn) and has won three consecutive state Class 1A titles.
