The countdown to the 2019 Mississippi State football season continues, as the Bulldogs are set to take on Louisiana in 18 days. Today’s spotlighted player is #18 Aaron Brule.
Brule, a native of Metarie, Louisiana, is a versatile 6-foot-1, 235-pound athlete who can play a hybrid linebacker/safety position for the Bulldogs. He was a two-sport athlete at Archbishop Rummel High School, lettering in both football and basketball.
He was rated as a four-star outside linebacker prospect by Rivals and a three-star prospect by both ESPN and 247Sports. He also ranked as the 23rd-best linebacker in the country and the 12th-best recruit from the state of Louisiana by Rivals and the 17th-best overall prospect in the state of Louisiana in the 247Sports Composite rankings.
