Sophomore, Martin Emerson plays cornerback and wears #1 for the Mississippi St. Bulldogs. Martin hails from Pine Forest High School in Pensacola, FL. Martin was a 3-Star recruit offered by twenty-eight schools, the first of which was Mississippi State.
Since coming to State, Martin has made use of the training facilities and nutrition, building himself to a chiseled 6’ 2” 196 lbs. Martin played in all thirteen games as a true freshman last year and started in five. He was chosen an Honorable Mention All-American as a true freshman last year.
Martin fell in love with State the first time he came to visit in 2017.
