Women’s tennis splits games out west and men’s dominates at home

The Ole Miss men’s and women’s tennis teams played in four matches this past weekend. The women’s team traveled to Palo Alto, Calif. to compete in the ITA Kickoff Weekend. They secured a big win against Utah but dropped game two against Stanford.

The men’s team hosted Tulane and Georgia Southern and defeated both opponents.

Women’s Tennis

Anaëlle Leclercq-Ficher and Ludmila Kareisová, who improved to 4-0 in dual doubles, started off strong against Utah and secured the doubles point early on for the Rebels.

Lucie Petruzelova and Andrea Nova picked up their first dual doubles win of the season with a score of 6-3 — marking Petruzelova’s 60th doubles victory and first as a Rebel.
