Andy Kennedy was in rare form, even for him. The veteran Ole Miss men’s basketball coach had a lot to be proud of Thursday night. His Rebels defeated Alabama 74-66 in the first game at the $96.5 million Pavilion.
Kennedy even took the public address microphone and thanked the largest crowd in school history following the win. Sebastian Saiz led the Rebels with 21 points and 16 rebounds, and Kennedy said he was the key to the victory.
