Hugh Freeze threw an interesting name into the hat yesterday with Rod Taylor.
Taylor, a sophomore, was on track to start at right guard before his impromptu boxing match ended with a torn labrum. He’ll play through the injury and have surgery at the end of the season.
Taylor is back at practice. He’s played only guard at the college level, and Freeze and coaches have long raved about his athleticism.
