It’s rare when a recruit from Starkville (Miss.) High doesn’t go to Mississippi State, but Brown went against the grain in choosing the Rebels over Mississippi State and Alabama.
Brown (6 feet 1, 220 pounds) is a national top-40 prospect overall and the No. 5 wide receiver.
Brown helped lead Starkville High to the Class 6A state title, as he had 83 receptions for 1,371 yards and 13 touchdowns. Brown averaged 16.5 yards per catch in 2015 and showcased a blend of size and speed.
Brown definitely has the speed to play on the edge at the next level, and loves to get physical.
