From the Mother Ship, an interesting read this morning on former Ole Miss quarterback Nathan Stanley, who left Ole Miss in the spring of 2011, is doing big things in Arena football with San Jose.
So is Odie Armstrong, a former Northeast Mississippi high school star.
This from the Mother Ship:
The only remaining unbeaten team in the Arena Football League, San Jose, is getting a boost from a couple of familiar names. Quarterback Nathan Stanley is a former Ole Miss player who finished his career at
Southeastern Louisiana. Running back Odie Armstrong, from Vardaman, is an AFL veteran who played at ICC. Stanley, 26, threw a career-high eight touchdowns and ran for another Saturday as San Jose (8-0) pounded Spokane 83-28 – the first 80-point game in the AFL this season.
