Six Rebels Among Inaugural Scott County HOF Class

Six men with ties to Ole Miss were part of the inaugural class of 25 athletes and coaches inducted into the Scott County Hall of Fame this past Saturday at Roosevelt State Park in Morton. It is believed that this was the creation of the first county-wide sports hall of fame in the state of Mississippi.

Forest's James (Jim) B. Harvey and Tom Stewart Lee, Jr., Lake's Freeman Horton and Morton's Andre Hollis, Deuce McAllister and Fred Roberts, all Ole Miss Rebels, whether they attended school or served as an assistant coach, were introduced and presented with plaques at the induction.
