Good stuff here from Tee Shepard. He’s a genuinely pleasant fellow in interviews. It’s easy to like this guy and hope he does well.
There have been high expectations for Shepard, a former Notre Dame signee, since he signed with Ole Miss out of Hinds Community College last year.
When he sustained the toe injury last August that caused him to miss the year Hugh Freeze told us at that time that he was losing what he considered to be “arguably his best cover corner.”
It’s been assumed this off-season that Shepard and Tony Bridges would take over as the starting corners.
