The hits keep on coming for Ole Miss this season. The school announced in a statement on Sunday that senior quarterback Chad Kelly will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL and lateral meniscus. Kelly will have season-ending surgery this week.
Kelly was injured in the third quarter of Saturday’s game against Georgia Southern when a defender rolled under him while he was attempting to make a throw. Kelly went into the locker room briefly and returned to the sideline but did not re-enter the game. Jason Pellerin played quarterback for the remainder of the game.
