A few plays that stood out in yesterday’s football practice …
- Evan Engram on a slant route had a nifty one-handed catch on a pass from Shea Patterson. It was a reminder of his athleticism. In spite of his slow start to the season Engram had 38 catches last year, the same number he had as a sophomore in 2014. His yards per catch were down with 12.2 last year compared to 17.4 as a sophomore. Freeze says Engram will be more involved in 2016.
- One of the biggest hits of the day came from backup linebacker John Patrick Sherling.
