OXFORD, Miss. -- A career weekend for several Rebels was capped by Ole Miss Volleyball's first league win of the season, triumphing in a thrilling 3-2 (22-25, 25-22, 21-25, 25-21, 16-14) victory over LSU Sunday in Gillom Athletics Performance Center, in front of their largest crowd of the season.
The Rebels improve to 11-8 on the year and 1-4 in SEC play, while LSU drops to 5-11 and 0-5.
Junior Emily Stroup delivered a dynamic performance, recording new career-bests 30 kills and 24 digs en route to her league-leading 10thdouble-double of the season. Fellow attacker Caitlin Wernentin joined her in the career column, registering a new high of 21 kills.
