Ole Miss has a massive opportunity tonight against the No. 24 Butler Bulldogs in Oxford at The Pavilion. This is only the second ranked non-conference opponent to face the Rebels in Oxford at their brand-spanking new arena in its short history.
The Rebels (5-2) will have to bounce back big-time tonight after its last game. Kermit Davis’ team suffered a blowout loss to Oklahoma State in the championship game of the NIT Season Tip-Off in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Much of that bounce back will land squarely on the shoulders of guards Devontae Shuler and Breein Tyree who at best were streaky in the NIT tournament last week.
