Eli Manning will be joining his father and Chucky Mullins in elite company this fall.
Ole Miss announced on Monday that Manning will have his No. 10 jersey number retired during the 2020 football season. The ceremony is expected to take place during the Auburn game on Sept. 19.
Manning is the third player in program history to have his number retired. Manning’s father, Archie Manning, who had his No. 18 number retired during the 1986 season, along with Mullins’ No. 38. Mullins’ number was retired during the 2006 season.
Ole Miss vice chancellor for intercollegiate athletics, Keith Carter, made the announcement.
