That ’13 class, which included four five-star players (three of whom are expected to go in the first round of the 2016 NFL draft in April), ranked eighth in the nation. This year’s class, which includes three five-star prospects, ranks sixth.
This was Ole Miss’ fourth consecutive top-15 class; the school had had two such groups in history before Freeze’s arrival.
The class includes the nation’s top-ranked quarterback in Shea Patterson and the top-ranked offensive tackle in Greg Little. Both are five-star prospects. It also includes five-star defensive tackle Benito Jones, the only one of the three from Mississippi.
