Ole Miss’ Ken Webster, Eric Swinney leave game with left knee injuries

Both Ole Miss cornerback Ken Webster and running back Eric Swinney were carted off the field during Monday’s game against Florida State with left knee injuries.

Webster, a junior and starter, was injured when he landed awkwardly on his left leg on a deep pass early in the first quarter.

On the play from their own 43-yard line, Seminoles quarterback Deondre Francois was looking for wide receiver Kermit Whitfield with 11:32 left in the quarter. Webster’s knee buckled as he came to the ground after looking to break up the pass, which fell incomplete.
