Ole Miss and Baylor very nearly matched up in the Sugar Bowl. They would have had Baylor not been upset by Texas on the final weekend of the 2015 season.
Now it looks like an Ole Miss-Baylor matchup could come to pass, but it won’t be soon.
Ole Miss athletics director Ross Bjork told SECCounty.com that talks are on-going with Baylor presumably for a neutral site game in 2020. Nothing has been finalized.
Bjork didn’t mention a site, but Baylor AD Ian McCaw did in this piece with the Waco Tribune.
