Ole Miss Fined for Field-Storming vs. Georgia; LSU Fined After Fans Throw Debris

Two SEC schools were fined by the conference after incidents that occurred over the weekend.

The SEC announced Monday that LSU will pay a $250,000 fine "for interruption of its contest against Alabama when fans threw debris onto the field" in a loss to Alabama on Saturday.

While LSU's fine came because of a moment of frustration for fans, Ole Miss will pay a fine for what its fans did in a moment of celebration. The school incurred a $250,000 fine because its fans stormed the field and will pay an additional fine of $100,000 because its fans entered the field before the end of the game.
