The Ole Miss men’s basketball team came away with a 75-67 win on Wednesday against Missouri in Breein Tyree’s final home game as a Rebel.
The senior guard scored 19 points on just nine field goal attempts in an efficient scoring night. He had a quiet first half, recording six points on 2-5 shooting.
“That guy right there, he doesn’t come around often,” head coach Kermit Davis said of Tyree. “He’s just built to score like that at all three levels.”
“They were doubling me off of ball screens, trying to get the ball out of my hands,” Tyree said.
