It's here. No more renderings, or fundraisers, or constant checking of live construction cameras. Thursday, January 7th marks the day that Ole Miss basketball finally moves out of the poorly-aged Tad Pad and into its "swanky" new arena.
The introduction of The Pavilion also marks the SEC home opener for Ole Miss basketball (their SEC opener on the road in Lexington didn't go very well) and the Rebels welcome Alabama to Oxford to help christen the new arena.
The Crimson Tide (9-3), lead by former NBA star and head coach of the Dallas Mavericks Avery Johnson, have won seven of their last eight games.
