Basketball is a game of ups and downs. It’s especially that way for Ole Miss basketball so far this season. Such was the case against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits as they showed the Rebels they can compete with a SEC team.
The Jackrabbits turned out to be a scoring machine and led Ole Miss 55-35 at the half. The Rebels were able to make up the 20 point deficit in the second half and with the score tied 82-82 forced overtime. However, the Rebels couldn’t stop the Jackrabbits in the OT and fell 99-97.
