Ole Miss basketball underwent some major changes in the immediate off-season with the end of the Andy Kennedy and Matt Insell eras. Of course, Andy Kennedy ducked out before the end of the season and Matt Insell was fired just after the end of Rebels women’s hoops season. Ross Bjork wasted no time in going after two more successful coaches to take their places.
Soon after basketball season ended we saw the hiring of Kermit Davis and Yolett McPhee-McCuin to take over both programs. This has added excitement and anticipation for the two upcoming basketball seasons.
