While coach Kermit Davis and Ole Miss basketball had a far better season than most college basketball pundits predicted the season didn’t end the way Rebels fans would have liked. Davis and the Rebels hit the 20 win mark and made the 2019 NCAA Tourney field of 64 teams as a No.8 seed but played just one game before returning to Oxford.
Still it was a great season for a first-year head and a relatively young Rebel team and Kermit Davis did a tremendous job. The future is bright for the Ole Miss basketball program but we all know Davis and the Rebels still have work to do to get to where we all want to be.
