Shortly after the Rebels took No. 1-seed Vanderbilt to the wire in Hoover, Ala. in the SEC Tournament title game, the NCAA released its host sites for the road to Omaha and the Ole Miss Rebels were named one of the 16 hosts.
The Rebels (37-25) finished off an impressive run to Sunday after falling into the loser’s bracket and were rewarded by the selection committee on Sunday evening by being named a regional host.
There will be postseason baseball in Oxford. Again.
The fellas are hosting for the second consecutive season and for the third time in five years.
