The Ole Miss baseball team is 8 and 0 after the first two weeks. There is reason for optimism in almost every area. Of course, the optimism has to be tempered by the knowledge that the season is long, the competition will be tougher and there is sure to be adversity.
The pitching has been superb as expected. In addition to outstanding starters in every game the middle relief has proved effective. And, of course, Dallas Woolfolk has been outstanding with 4 saves in 4 outings. The middle relief has been solid as well.
